In pianist Shani Diluka's own words, her Pulse album "resonates with the pulsing beat of the world itself … It is also an ode to diversity, a metaphor for the complex interweaving of our modern world." Discover it here: 🤍 The American minimalist avant-garde echoes contemporary electro music, with the latter’s hypnotic, trance-like repetition. The elevation of minds and bodies. Daft Punk asks us: Veridis Quo – where is the truth? This fascinating intermarriage of American music resonates in turn with my own: an immigrant family from a far-off island arriving to find destiny and displacement, staring directly into the eyes of children full of hopes and dreams, the oceanic depths of a consciousness teeming with memories. It is only through tears and misgivings that life takes shape. The complexity of a humanity set in motion amid the forces of the invisible and the indivisible.
